Meet the Counselors:
Becca
Hello and welcome! My husband, Jon, and I have been married 23 years and have four kids, three boys and a girl. As a former English teacher in both private and public settings, a homeschool-turned-public-school mama, and years of living and ministering in a low-income area, I bring a wide variety of life experiences into the counseling setting. As a biblical counselor, I foster a safe place for tweens (age 12 and up), teens, and women of all ages to share their struggles and find hope and healing in Jesus. I offer biblical counseling services in person in the Kansas City area and beyond via telehealth. I have an MA in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary, PA, hold Levels I, II, and III counseling certificates from Christian Counseling Education Foundation, am a Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider, CCTCP-2 ,through the Christian Trauma Healing Network, and have additional training in domestic violence and post-traumatic stress.

As a husband, father of four children, and years of working in the business world, I understand the pressures than many Christian men face in their lives as they try to balance work and family. As an athlete and father of athletes, I also understand the struggles with performance anxiety and identity. As a biblical counselor, I invite older teens (ages 18+) and men of all ages to work through their struggles and difficulties in order to be who God has designed them to be. I offer biblical counseling services in person in the Kansas City area and beyond via telehealth. I have an MDiv from Southern Seminary, KY, hold Levels I, II, and III counseling certificates from Christian Counseling Education Foundation, and have additional training in marital abuse dynamics.
